The Farmhouse Restaurant is proud to work with local farms in order to prepare our dishes with the freshest ingredients possible. Our mission is to cultivate a sustainable and supportive community, while showcasing the rich flavors and bounty of our region. We are dedicated to partnering with local suppliers to strengthen the economy of our community. By sharing our passion for quality, freshness, and community, we aim to create a welcoming gathering place where friends, neighbors, and visitors can come together to savor the tastes of local goodness. The restaurant is entirely buffet, with daily specials that may include St. Louis ribs, barbecued pork butt, shrimp creole, grilled chicken wings, strip steak, flank steak, seafood jambalaya, chicken pot pie, and many other favorites!
Start off by grazing our extended Salad Bar, featuring mixed field greens, fresh cherry tomatoes, English cucumbers, shaved red onion, shredded carrot, chopped Romaine, grilled chicken breast, shredded Parmesan, banana pepper rings, baby spinach, sliced mushrooms, black olives, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, assorted cheeses, and assorted dresses, among many other choices! Turn the corner for our deli-style salads, including potato, macaroni, cucumber, chicken, tuna, and cole slaw.
The Hot Buffet has a little something for everyone!
In the mood for a down-home meal? Try our crispy fried chicken, roasted rosemary chicken, barbecued chicken, macaroni and cheese, real mashed potatoes, gravies, sliced turkey breast, homemade sage stuffing, sauerkraut and sausage, buttered corn, green beans, wild and white rice, fried okra, and sweet potato casserole.
Is surf ‘n turf more your thing? We have pot roast, meatloaf, baby baked potatoes, grilled pork chops, honey-glazed carrots, black-eyed peas, baby lima beans, cornmeal-breaded fried catfish, baked cod with citrus butter, cornbread, and buttermilk biscuits.
How about Italian? Choose from beef or vegetable lasagna, have some penne with marinara or alfredo sauce, then top it with garlic-buttered shrimp or Italian meatballs, and add a jumbo breadstick or garlic bread!
And the kids will love our chicken nuggets, fries, and freshly baked pizzas!
But leave room for Dessert– we have pies, cobblers, cakes, cookies, brownies, and soft serve ice cream with a variety of toppings. You can find on the salad bar fruits, yogurts, granola, puddings, Jello both traditional and sugar-free. And it wouldn’t be Pennsylvania without the cottage cheese and apple butter
Weekly Specials
Sunday Brunch: we’ve had many requests for breakfast foods, so head on over on Sundays from 11:30-3:30 to try out our new omelet station! Featuring local eggs from Weikert’s Egg Farm, fresh seasonal vegetables, sausage, bacon, ham, and assorted cheeses.
Dinner specials begin at 4pm, with carving stations Fri-Sun as specified below.
Tuesday through Thursday savor our authentic Mongolian stir fry station! Choose your fresh vegetables and proteins (steak, chicken, or tofu), then watch the chefs toss your selections with your favorite sauce (stirfry, sweet Thai chili, sweet and sour, General Tso’s, teriyaki, or sirracha) and serve your dinner over your choice of lo mein noodles, rice noodles, or rice.
Friday night is Cattle Call! You asked for it, so we’ll ring the Farmhouse bell for slow-cooked, mouthwateringly tender prime rib on the carving station.
Saturday we go Hog Wild with possible offerings of pork shoulder, spare ribs, St. Louis ribs, baby back ribs, or ham on the carving station.
Sunday the carving station will feature the Chef’s choice.
